「ALPACA KNIT 体をあたためる衣類展」

脱げなくなるあたたかさのPUENTEのアルパカニット。
南米ボリビアとペルーのつくり手による、手編み&手織りの体をあたためる衣服を販売します。
しっとり柔らかで保温性が高いアルパカ。日々身につけてもらえるようにシンプルなデザインで靴下、レギンス、腹巻、レッグウォーマーから、ベスト、セーター、コート、ショール、帽子、手袋など並べます。

PUENTE We offer Alpaca wool in a wide range of handknitted and handwoven garments designed in Japan and made in Peru and Bolivia. Alpaca wool is soft, cozy to wear, durable, wicks away moisture, and retains heat real well. Our Alpaka knitted collection includes socks, leggings, belly wraps, leg warmers, vests, sweaters, coats, shawls, hats, gloves, and more. The simple practical design are perfect for everyday use. A note from Yuri Ochiai (Founder). “This year marks our 20th anniversary since I first visited the artisan peoples of the Andes. PUENTE means ‘bridge’ in Spanish. It expresses our desire to work as a bridge between the craftsmen and our cliants. Directly working with the local artisans, we insure the highest quality and durability in each garment. we design the handknitted garments as tools to warm your bodies rather than fashion items.” Presently located in rural Okayama Prefecture, I also live on a rice farm while raising two boys.

【プロフィール】
PUENTE
ボリビア&ペルーのアンデスの民のもとに通い、直接取引をして、オリジナルデザインの体をあたためる道具としての衣服を企画、輸入、販売。今年で20年目。国内の拠点は東京から岡山へ移し、田んぼをやりながら半農半PUENTEを目指す。PUENTEは、橋という意味のスペイン語で、つくり手と使い手の橋渡しを役目とし、自然素材を手仕事で形にして、ファッションアイテムではなく、体をあたためる道具としての衣服を提案している。
This year marks our 20th anniversary since we visited the people of Andes in Bolivia and Peru to start business directly with them so we can import and sell their original designed clothings.We have moved from Tokyo to Okayama, and living as a farmer and PUENTE founder, like wearing two hats.PUENTA means “bridge” in Spanish, so our role is to stand in between the craftsman and the users.We would like to approach to more users introducing these items that’s made by hands using all natural materials. This is not just another fashion items but tools to keep you warm from heart.
